Email Provider Status

Before troubleshooting your own settings, it's worth ruling out a provider-side outage — it happens more often than people expect, and no setting change on your end will fix it. Below are direct links to each provider's own official status page, where one exists.

Gmail / Google Workspace

https://www.google.com/appsstatus

Outlook / Outlook.com / Microsoft 365

https://status.cloud.microsoft/m365/

Covers Outlook.com and consumer Microsoft 365. Business/tenant-specific issues show in your admin center instead.

!

Yahoo Mail

No official public status page. Yahoo typically acknowledges major outages on its support account on X, or on the Yahoo Help site.

!

AOL Mail

No official public status page. AOL is under the same parent company as Yahoo and follows a similar pattern — check their help page for outage acknowledgments during a major incident.

!

GMX Mail

No official public status page.

!

Mail.com

No official public status page. Same corporate family as GMX.

!

Yandex Mail

No official public status page.

!

Rediffmail

http://support.rediff.com/rediffmail.htm

No live status dashboard, but this support page is where Rediff itself has historically posted outage notices.

Tuta (Tutanota)

https://status.tuta.com

Tuta's own live status page for webmail and app outages.

!

HEY

No public HEY-specific status page — check 37signals' general status channels if HEY is down for many people at once.

!

Verizon Email (@verizon.net)

Verizon.net mailboxes run through AOL now and have no separate status page — check AOL/Yahoo's general status channels if this is down for many people at once.

Comcast/Xfinity Email

https://www.xfinity.com/support/status

Xfinity's own status page covers broader service outages, which sometimes affect Xfinity Connect email too.

!

BellSouth Email (@bellsouth.net)

BellSouth mailboxes now run through AT&T Mail and have no separate status page — if AT&T's broader network or mail systems are having issues, that's where it would show up, but no dedicated public dashboard exists.

!

Thunderbird

Thunderbird is a desktop app, not a hosted service — if it stops working, check the status of whichever email provider you connect it to (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) above instead.

!

Windows Mail

The built-in Windows Mail app syncs to your actual email provider — check that provider's status above, not a "Windows Mail" status specifically.

If a provider's status page says everything is operational but you're still having trouble, the issue is more likely local to your account, device, or settings — see our guides by client or the Common Issues page.

Status page URLs were verified when this page was last updated and can change — if a link looks wrong, let us know.
